Colleen’s goal is to make family travel easier and more memorable, with ways to engage the whole family in must-see locations throughout the U.S. and abroad. Aboard MSC Seaside, Colleen’s multigenerational family gets a taste for MSC Cruises’ enriching cruise experience inspired by a European heritage, offering activities and experiences for all ages and bringing together guests from all over the world. While Colleen’s parents enjoyed the luxury ship-within-a-ship concept, the MSC Yacht Club, Colleen and family spent time flying down the longest zip lines at sea, experiencing the dynamic Aqua Park, savoring some girl time in the spa, taking in world-class evening entertainment, and dining on the ship’s gourmet, international cuisines.
MSC Seaside is an ideal ship for families seeking a fun and enriching vacation,” said Ken Muskat, EVP and Chief Operating Officer of MSC Cruises USA. “With the debut of Family Travel with Colleen Kelly, we’re thrilled that PBS viewers will have the opportunity to get a first-hand look at the varied programming and experiences MSC Cruises, and specifically MSC Seaside, can provide for multi-generational families.”
Sailing year-round from Miami to the Caribbean, MSC Seaside’s unique innovative beach condo design brings guests closer to the sea and helps them enjoy the outdoors like never before. Guests can stroll along the widest waterfront boardwalk at sea, dare to cross glass-floor catwalks extending off the sides of the ship, and enjoy outdoor spa space. MSC Seaside’s internationally-inspired dining includes a partnership with pan-Asian pioneer Roy Yamaguchi for Asian Market Kitchen. The ship’s MSC Aurea Spa offers a unique thermal area complete with multiple saunas, a Hammam room, a snow room and more for ultimate relaxation. Thrilling activities on board include a multi-story aqua park with 4 water slides; two of the longest zip lines at sea; full-size bowling lanes; an F1 simulator; and full-scale theatrical productions each night of the cruise.
