MSC SPLENDIDA

MSC Splendida, the second in MSC Cruises’ luxurious “Fantasia” class of cruise ships was christened in Barcelona on July 12, 2009. Her cutting-edge technology combined with her luxurious features have produced a heaven where dreams become reality.

MSC Splendida, the second in MSC Cruises’ luxurious “Fantasia” class of cruise ships was christened in Barcelona on July 12, 2009. Her cutting-edge technology combined with her luxurious features have produced a heaven where dreams become reality. MSC Splendida is a ship looking to the future but drawing from its past, where you will find golden bliss enclosed within one cruise ship.

MSC Cruises has laid out a 6-star service for highly-demanding guests who enjoy the pleasures of life with the MSC Yacht Club, a VIP area complete with 71 spacious suites and 24 hour butler service. In the Top Sail Lounge, with its Skydome, guests may also delight their palate under a dome of sparkling stars. Luxury cruising at it's finest.

For their well-being, guests may partake in the MSC Aurea Spa with its highly-trained staff. In the spa, MSC Cruises combines the magic of Balinese massage with the traditional well-being that comes from water treatments, a legacy from ancient Roman times. Saunas, Turkish bath, solarium, relaxation room, thalassotherapy, massage room, whirlpool – guests may make use of all facilities in a relaxing and pleasant environment. For those seeking more sporty activities, there is a sun-kissed exercise room suspended above water. Every area was designed in order to re-balance the body’s harmony and let inner beauty shine through.

For entertainment, on-board MSC Splendida there are 4 swimming pools, a squash court, the possibility of living the thrills of Formula 1 through a simulator, and more…

Interior Stateroom

All staterooms have one double bed that can be made into two single beds on request (except wheelchair accessible staterooms). All staterooms include bathroom with shower or tub, hair dryer, interactive TV, wifi (additional fee), mini-bar and safe. Approximately 172 sq. ft.

Deluxe Suites feature a separate living area, marble bathrooms with a spa bath and separate shower, and bathrobes by Mascioni® of Italy.  Double beds with Myform Memory® mattresses are made up with soft Egyptian cotton sheets and a Dorelan® pillow menu to ensure the perfect night’s rest.  Beds are gladly converted to singles upon your request.  Wifi access available. Suites range from 248 sq. ft. (206 sq. ft. suite + 42 sq. ft. veranda) to 376 sq. ft. (315 sq. ft. suite + 61 sq. ft. verandah)

MSC Yacht Club Executive and Family Suite

These spacious suites feature panoramic floor to ceiling views, a separate living area, marble bathrooms with a spa bath and separate shower, and bathrobes by Mascioni® of Italy.  Double beds with Myform Memory® mattresses are made up with soft Egyptian cotton sheets and pillow menu to ensure the perfect night’s rest.  Beds are gladly converted to singles upon your request.  Wifi access available. Suites range from 474 sq. ft. to 571 sq. ft.

MSC Yacht Club Royal Suite

MSC Yacht Club Royal Suites feature an expansive balcony, sitting area, marble bathrooms with a spa bath and separate shower, and bathrobes by Mascioni® of Italy.  Double beds with Myform Memory® mattresses are made up with soft Egyptian cotton sheets and a pillow menu to ensure the perfect night’s rest.  Beds are gladly converted to singles upon your request.  Wifi access available. Suites are 388 sq. ft. (216 sq. ft. suite + 177 sq. ft. balcony).

MSC Yacht Club De Luxe Suite - for guest with disabilities

Double bed, air conditioning, ample wardrobe with low hanging rail, interactive television (ITV), radio, telephone, Samsung LCD screens. Free equipment to access the internet (connection at a fee), Nintendo Wii console, mini-bar, low personal safe. Surface 29 sq.m.
Switches to control lights, key cards (where applicable) and air conditioning have been positioned at a reduced height. A light switch has been placed next to the bed in each cabin.
Bathroom is equipped with a low fold-down seat (45cm/17.72inch.), one grab rail in the toilet and 2 in the shower (92cm/36.22 inch.), a low vanity sink (85 cm/45.27 inch.) and a roll on the shower floor (to access the shower with a wheelchair).

Villa Verde Restaurant

Villa Verde restaurant, on the ship’s stern, features a breathtaking panorama which inspired the theme of transparency and light used in the restaurant design. This restaurant offers an assorted Mediterranean menu, including light choices and options that are always available, to satisfy those who know what they want each day.

L'Olivo Restaurant

L’Olivo offers select delicacies from a full 14 different Mediterranean countries: Algeria, Croatia, Cyprus, Egypt, France, Greece, Israel, Italy, Libya, Morocco, Portugal, Spain, Tunisia and Turkey.

Tex Mex Santa Fe Restaurant

For lovers of spicy food, Tex Mex Santa Fe is the right choice. Sample all the tastes of Mexican cuisine: from Texas steaks to enchiladas, fajitas to burritos and tacos, guacamole to tortillas, all accompanied by Mexican beer, Tequila and Margaritas. The full-view kitchen completes the traditional atmosphere of this restaurant.

La Piazzetta

Sample the delights of La Piazzetta. With its bar ice-cream parlour, pastry and chocolate shop, a world reminiscent of Willy Wonka’s chocolate factory awaits our guests. Dishes include crème bavaroise with almonds and berries, chocolate semifreddo, vanilla and rose macaron cream, cannoli, baba and meringues.
