Southampton is a large port city located on the south coast of England and a port of call for MSC cruise ships. Situated in the pretty county of Hampshire, Southampton is a gateway to many of southern England’s historic attractions.

A university town, Southampton is home to one of the longest medieval walls in England as well as a fascinating Tudor House Museum (built in 1496), so simply staying in town will make for a pleasant day away from your luxury cruise ship.

However, we have many other excursion packages that open up the diverse array of attractions in this part of England. Enjoy the best deals on outings to top sights such as Winchester, famous for its 11th century cathedral, as well as the legendary Arthurian Round Table. The natural delights of the New Forest will be a draw for nature lovers and this large National Park is ideal for hiking and pony trekking. The stately home of Beaulieu Palace House is close by and makes for a superb day out with its large gardens, an historic Gothic home complete with ancient abbey, large motor museum of classic cars, an amusement park and ‘living history’ tours.
