TRZ01 - CANNES & GRASSE (full day, lunch not included) - 2013
With the coastline and countryside associated with the French Riviera being justifiably acclaimed as some of the most beautiful in the world, this all-day tour begins with a short, but scenic coach ride through a little of this lovely landscape to reach nearby Grasse, a designated “town of art and history” that is firmly linked to the fine art of perfume-making. Every year, new “noses” come to the famous town to be trained and learn to distinguish between more than 2,000 different scents. Grasse is also responsible for satisfying more than half of the country’s yearly demand for natural aromas required for perfume and as food flavourings. A visit to one of the area’s perfume factories will give you a fascinating insight into the complicated process involved in first obtaining the precious essential oils and then using them to blend a specific fragrance. The tour then moves on to the coastal resort of Cannes, the place where the famous annual film festival is held. Some free time is scheduled for you to explore the lovely town, browse in the luxury shops or have lunch in one of the many cafés or restaurants (not included in the price of the tour). The tour then comes to a leisurely close with your return to Saint-Tropez and your ship.
Price per person $82.00 Adults $57.00 Children
TRZ02 - THE VILLAGES OF PROVENCE (approx. 4 hours) - 2013
As part of the larger Provence region in the south of France lies the coastal Var département and the small towns of Gassin, Grimaud and Ramatuelle. Designed to give you a taste of the wonderful Provence landscape and its picturesque villages, the tour begins with a short coach ride from Saint-Tropez to your first stop: the village of Gassin, which is situated on a promontory just 4 kilometres from the Mediterranean Sea. As you walk through the winding streets of the lovely village, you can look forward to gorgeous views of the surroundings: an azure-blue sea, green forests and lush vineyards growing in the fertile soil. Next up is the hill-top village of Grimaud, whose history dates back to Gallo-Roman times and which enjoys ties to the House of Grimaldi, which in turn is closely associated with the history of the Italian Republic of Genoa and the Principality of Monaco. An enjoyable stroll around this lovely medieval village will be followed by a drive to the final stop on the tour: the small town of Ramatuelle, which was founded on a hill to keep enemies at bay. After a walking tour through the pretty village, you will also have some time to spend at your leisure in the market square.

TRZ03 - SAINT TROPEZ BY SEA AND LAND (approx. 4 hours) - 2013
Give yourself a chance to explore and discover the wonderful coastal town of Saint-Tropez from both the sea and by land on this hugely enjoyable tour, whose first leg will see you board a pleasure boat for a 1-hour cruise in the Bay of Saint-Tropez. Do bring your camera to capture snapshots of the beautiful coastline while you enjoy the relaxing sway of the boat. Back on dry land again, a walk through the centre of Saint-Tropez will then follow. The town’s history can be traced right back to Phocaean times around 599 B.C. and boasts many historical traditions that are still maintained and celebrated today. The vibrant port and town rose to fame as a holiday resort after WWII due to its popularity with artists associated with French popular music and New Wave cinema.
