Located in North Africa, Egypt is a key destination for MSC Cruises liners on our Arabian Gulf itinerary.

Some of the world's most famous monuments such as the Giza pyramids, the Sphinx and the Valley of the Kings can be found in Egypt and with so much to see and do, it is well worth joining us on many of our excursion packages.

The weather in Egypt is temperate year round, in summer the Red Sea coast can get hot, whereas north east winds keep the Mediterranean coast cooler. Arabic is the native language and although not much English is spoken, menus often cater to tourists.

The Egyptian pound is the local currency, although US dollars and euros are also welcome. If you have any left over, bring back souvenirs from your vacation here– toy camels are always fun for children, friends and family may appreciate authentic Egyptian mint tea or a fun pyramid-shaped paperweight!
