   Punta Del Este is world-renowned not only because of its natural resources but also for its famous visitors, such as Bush, Tony Curtis, Antony Queen, and Antonio Banderas among many others. You’ll enjoy a panoramic tour by bus through a residential and natural area such as; Cantegril, Parque de Golf and San Rafael. A photo stop at the beach before heading to Punta Ballena, where you will have an inside visit of Casapueblo, home and atelier of the famous painter Carlos Paez Vilaro.   Departing from the port we will start with a panoramic drive through this international destination, passing by the residential area such as “Cantegril”, “Parque du Gold” and the “Hotel San Rafael in Beverly hills until we reach the Gorlero Avenue before heading to the famous Lapataia farm, where you will be able to observe plants and animals such as wild pigs, swans, rabbits, donkeys and horses.   Looking for something different in Punta Del Este? A day at the beach may be what you are looking for! A panoramic transfer will take you from the pier all the way to “Bikini Beach”, located 30 minutes from Punta Del Este in “La Barra” the night life place of Punta Del Este, Considered the most glamorous beach in Punta Del Este, famous as a destination to the celebrities and jet-sets. You will have approximately 2 and a half hour to explore the beach and the city or even the local casino Mantra (located about 20 minutes walking from the beach) or perhaps do a little shipping in the main street. With crystal clear water and white sand, you may just enjoy the beach and relax under the sun.   Arriving at the pier by tender, you'll board your coach for a lovely drive through the city's residential districts. This famous South American seaside resort is the playground for the regional jet set and a world renowned site of many film festivals and international conferences. Often referred to as the St. Tropez of Uruguay, this popular resort area, with its miles of pristine beaches, is an international favourite. One of the more interesting features of Punta Del Este is that visitors can actually see the sun rise and set in the same waters due to its location on a peninsula that extends into the ocean. Your tour will first take you along the magnificent beach areas of Playa Mansa and Playa Brava Portezuelo and then through the tree-lined residential districts of San Rafael, Cantegrill and Beverly Hills, where you can see many of the city's beautiful mansions and well-tended private gardens. Your route also passes by the Tudor-styled San Rafael Casino. A brief photo stop will be made at Punta Ballena, before returning to the Pier, where you'll find a wonderful panoramic view of the peninsula and Casa Pueblo.  BRMTV01 - MONTEVIDEO & CENTENARIO Duration: 5 hours - Montevideo, Uruguay
  Take a comfortable drive through Montevideo’s quaint old city and waterfront area. You will have glimpses of the Legislative Palace, considered as one of the three most beautiful legislative buildings in the world because of its marble structure. Then continue to “Battle y Ordoñez” Park with its vibrantly realistic ox cart monument, the obelisk and the “Estádio Centenário”, World Soccer Monument, due to the fact that at the “Estádio Centenário” was held the first World Soccer Cup organized by FIFA. The excursion includes an internal visit to the Museum with an exhibition displaying the 1924, 1928, 1930 and 1950 Archives of the Uruguayan national team’s four world championships.    Montevideo is a charming, drowsy place, with an aristocrat atmosphere and 19th and early 20th Century buildings, along with beautiful parks and historic monuments. Leaving the pier in a comfortable drive through Montevideo’s quaint old City and waterfront area, where you will learn the saga of the German battleship Graf Spee with your guide adding colorful commentary about what is considered to be the First World War II Battleship. You will continue the drive to Plaza Independencia to visit the Memorial of General Gral Artigas before heading to Battle y Ordoñez Park with its vibrantly realistic ox cart monument, obelisk and Estádio Centenário, considered a world soccer monument as it hosted the first world soccer cup in 1930. You will see the legislative Palace, considered one of the three most beautiful legislative buildings in the world because of its marble ornate structure before visiting the Prado Park, located just northwest of downtown, this lovely park is well known for its historical monuments and attractive gardens before arriving in the Bouza Winery, a family born business and the love to the countryside and its products. Bouza have grown but kept the tradition production stages to maintain the quality of its wines all the way from the vineyard to the glass of wine. The family believes that in this way they will reflect their personality in their wines. After the visit to the vineyards you will visit the winery and the vineyards to learn all about the production and even enjoy a winetasting of 3 different types of wines served with made home breads, selection of cheese including the grissini cheese, cold meat and toast. You will have a chance to purchase wine at the vineyard store before returning to the pier.     This is the best way to see all that Montevideo has to offer plus shopping and lunch in a typical Uruguayan restaurant. This tour will give you a comprehensive overview of Montevideo's monuments, parks and gardens. Highlights include the Old City, Constitution Square, Cathedral and Colonial Town Hall, Solis Theatre, and Independence Square whit stop to see handicrafts. View the Government House and the Congress Building constructed between 1908 and 1925. In 1986 after a massive riot the penitentiary was evacuated and remained empty for years. In 1992 begins the refurbishment and in 1994 the shopping center Punta Carretas was opened. The entrance gate is the original penitentiary gates, but the rest was all totally renovated. The mall has over 300 stores and among the many varieties find in the shopping, guests will find, clothing, jewelries, accessories, toys, electronics, photo, sportswear, etc. Notes: Lunch is included in this excursion with a glass of wine or a bottle of water.
