   Budding painters, photographers and dreamers … all will enjoy the art and aesthetics of Urbino and delight in the quaint streets and squares of this lovely walled city and UNESCO World Heritage Site. You will reach Urbino after a 1.5-hour coach drive to meet your guide and start a tour around the historic old town, one of the best preserved medieval centres in Italy. Located on a sloping hillside, Urbino offers picturesque views over the verdant valleys, straight out of an Italian masterpiece.  ANC03WI - THE “FRASASSI” CAVES (4 hours 15 minutes) - Ancona, Italy
    An approx. 45-min drive through the pretty Italian countryside will take you to Genga and the unforgettable Frassasi Caves. Your guide will escort you on an underground adventure among the otherworldly stalagmites and stalactites found within the famous cave system, which was discovered and then explored between 1948 and 1971. The safe routes through the spectacular caves coupled with dramatic lighting make this a truly awe-inspiring experience for the whole family. The caves also boast Europe’s largest single cavern, the Grotta Grande del Vento – so big that Milan Cathedral would easily fit inside. Next up is a visit to St. Vittore’s Abbey, a notable example of Romanesque architecture dating back to 1011, and the Museum.       Tucked away just a short distance from Ancona lies a jewel of Italian architecture, the town of Jesi and your destination on this enjoyable tour. Combining a chance to explore the town’s rich cultural heritage with a convivial wine-tasting session, the outing begins with a scenic 45-minute coach drive to Jesi to meet your guide. The Palazzo Pianetti – an imposing 18th-century Rococo palace with an exquisite interior – in the middle of town forms your first stop. Now serving as a municipal museum and exhibition site, the Palazzo is also home to the Pinacoteca Civica, Jesi’s much-respected art gallery. A group of works including the masterful altarpiece, St. Lucy before the Judge, by Lorenzo Lotto, a notable late 15th- to mid-16th-century Italian painter, is considered to be the gallery’s star exhibit.     After boarding your coach and leaving the port of Tunis, known as La Goulette, you will head for the nearby archaeological ruins of ancient Carthage, a city from the 6th century B.C. that was once the base of a powerful trading empire. Its most famous citizen was Hannibal, the general who crossed the Alps to do battle with the Romans. You will have a chance to visit the baths of Antonius. The next stop on the tour is at Sidi Bou Said, a typical fishing village with characteristic white and blue houses that was founded by Andalusian Arabs.     This enjoyable shopping tour begins with a short coach ride from the port to the old medina quarter, which is a UNESCO world heritage site and boasts some 700 monuments, including historical palaces, mosques, mausoleums and fountains. It is also where spectacular architectural beauty meets a shopper’s delight: the typical and traditional spice market with hundreds of stalls selling a huge variety of local produce. After the medina, you will continue on to the little fishing village of Sidi Bou Said, which was founded by Andalusian Arabs and is known particularly for the consistent white-and-blue colour scheme of the houses all throughout the town.     The ancient city of Carthage, which today forms a suburb of Tunis, dates back nearly 3,000 years and was built on a promontory overlooking the sea, which favourable position facilitated the key role that Carthage played in maritime trade. Upon leaving the port, a brief coach transfer will take you to the ancient site, which was added to the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites in 1979. The tour includes a visit to the Punic Tophet, a spine-tingling open-air memorial to deceased infants from this early Phoenician period, before then continuing on to the Antonin Baths, the ruins of the largest Roman bath complex outside Rome itself. Next up is a spot of shopping in the Medina, the typical Arab market in Tunis.    A 1-hour drive by coach from Málaga port will take you to the coastal town of Nerja, home to a famous network of caves that were re-discovered in modern times by a group of potholing friends in 1959. The caves were inhabited from approx. 25,000 B.C. to the Bronze Age, with cave paintings delivering lasting proof of human habitation.       Take some time out and get set to soak up some of the most arresting vistas that Tenerife has to offer, starting at one of the most romantic landscapes on the northern coast: La Garañona viewpoint. Gorgeous views of the craggy coastline and the Atlantic Ocean simply beg to be captured on film, so do bring your camera. The lovely little village of El Sauzal, a settlement that goes back to the island’s pre-Hispanic era and continues to observe Portuguese traditions, is next.
