Buon Ricordo  

Description: The Buon Ricordo Restaurants Association was founded in 1964 with the aim of safeguarding and promoting local Italian cooking traditions.
This is a unique opportunity onboard MSC Poesia to experience local and Italian gourmet culinary specialties and wines
Every evening, one of the Seven Restaurants from the Buon Ricordo Association will delight guests with the following unforgettable Italian culinary experiences:
• The Enoteca Del Duca restaurant (Tuscany) will present its famous Tuscan soup “Ribollita col colombaccio e tartufo volterrano” (Ribollita with colombaccio and truffle from Volterra)
• Là Di Moret of Udine will present its sumptuous dish “Polente cuinciade”
• The Sicilian Moderno restaurant will present its famous “Scaloppine di cernia agli agrumi di Sicilia” (Grouper Scaloppine à la Sicilian citrus fruit)
• Finally, the Barbieri of Altomonte (Cosenza-Cosenza) will provide us a robust seasonal dish “Lamb with juniper”
• The Petrini will present its famous “Piccioncino Notre Dame” (Pigeon Notre Dame) from Paris (France)
• For an exotic touch, a chef coming directly from Kanagawa will offer a Japanese dish called “The Bamboo”
• On the last day of the cruise our guests will enjoy one of the most famous and delicious dish of the Buon Ricordo Restaurants group and symbol of this cruise - L’Obelisco (Gamberoni saltati all’aglio dolce in un nido di spinaci novella con pinoli e caperi - Large shrimps tossed with sweet-garlic on a nest of baby spinach with pine nuts and capers)
A limited number of Buon Ricordo ceramic plates realized from ceramists of Vietri, Italy, will be offered to guests who will taste the specialty of the day (For this cruise plates are signed on the back “Crociera del Buon Ricordo – Nave MSC Poesia – ottobre 2009”).
To enhance this extraordinary experience our guests will also have the opportunity to participate in Wine Tasting and Cooking Courses.
• Wine tasting with oenologists masters such as Genuino Del Duca. The wines are coupled to the typical gourmet products of the region including the “ Vino della Pace”, a unique friulan wine cellar which contains wine from five continents and six hundred different grapes. A special wine packaging will also be promoted.
• Cooking courses held by the awarded Buon Ricordo’s chef, namely Paolo Teverini, can be attended. Guests will discover the pleasure to cook in preview the gourmet specialty being presented for dinner. Certificates for participants will be given.
 
   
Fantastic World Cruise  

Description: A journey around the world of dreams and magic. It will bring together families and all participants through several activities and lectures, and will end up with a great party by Andrea Guimaraes (one of the most popular Brazilian children-party planner).
